Anova Culinary App Reviews

The update made it so I can no longer connect to the cooker while Im away. The previous version worked great but this update is horrible.

This is a nice looking device that seems to function as it should. BUT, the app timer doesnt start automatically when you say okay to having put your food in. And the recipes are kinda beat and limited. And the app is kinda of a pain not designed well, tricky and redundant at times. For the price I paid, Id take my chances with something else.

Wont even open now! Starting to re-think my decision to get the new one (Bluetooth) and give my dad my old one.

Not an improvement! Constant crashing upon opening.

I upgrade because there were a ton of bugs. But, at least it opened and worked somewhat. This will not open AT ALL. Closes/crashes immediately after opening. And to think I was hopeful for this app.

Download the new version and it crashed. App is not as useful as I thought it would be. It feels as if I am looking through a sample page of a brochure. Youre better off downloading chefsteps or look for recipes on YouTube. This app could use a little bit more improvement. ie. More recipes, tips and guides... And a better friendly user interface. I love my anova, but the app.... Thanks, but no thanks.

Just installed the new update. Now the app crashes before it even opens. Wish I could go back to the old version.

Although a little clunky in the regions version, this one crashes consistently. Unfortunate.

This crashes upon opening on iPad Air 2 and iPad Air. If you like this app, as I do, you may want to hold off updating and give them a chance to fix this.

Just crashes on both my iphone & ipad. It got as far as asking if notifications were okay, but then just crashes :(

I would normally be giving this app about four stars but the new update is crashing on launch! Im using an iPhone 5 with the most current OS. Lets get this fixed, Anova!

The app was working perfectly before the update. Now it crashes on startup :(

Doesnt pair with device. Just opens and then shuts off. Worthless

First time installed today. Crashes just a second after I see initial page. Unusable. iPhone 6+

After updating to this version, the app crashes as soon as the loading screen disappears. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app with no resolution. I cant understand how such a major bug made it through testing.

Just updated, and it crashes on my iPhone 6, and iPad... Developer needs to roll back.. Because I cant control my device anymore.

Love my precision cooker. All the meats come out perfectly and quite tasty. Made salmon the other day using a recipe from the Anova, which was really helpful and easy to follow. Being able to modify and track temp/time remotely while sitting on the couch was nice too :)
